The 530 car has about a 30hp advantage at 4000 rpm....... Also worthy of note is that the dyno test was started 500 later on the 530 car giving the other car longer to be able to build boost. Starting the dyno test on the 530 car at same RPM as the other car would probably show an even larger differance in the low end response. Take a good look at both of those dyno graphs......Notice how the 530 graph ramps and goes straight up. Notice how the other dyno graph shows a more round curve. The response of a turbo in a street car is much more fun then the peak power to me. I am always talking people into smaller turbos and when we set them up properly our customers have always been happy they did go smaller. This small area down in the lower range is huge in how a street car responds IMO. I love 530 turbos!
